SOMETIMES LIFE GIVES MURDER A SECOND CHANCE
It was the case that destroyed Detective Justin Shakespeare’s career, beginning a downward spiral of self-loathing and self-destruction lasting half a decade. And today things are only going to get worse. The Widow Rapist is free on a technicality, and it is up to Detective Shakespeare and his partner Amber Trace to find the evidence, five years cold, to put him back in prison before he strikes again.
But Shakespeare and Trace aren’t alone in their desire for justice. The Seven are the survivors, avowed to not let the memories of their loved ones be forgotten. And with the release of the Widow Rapist, they are determined to take justice into their own hands, restoring balance to a flawed system.
At stake is a second chance, a chance at redemption, a chance to salvage a career destroyed, a reputation tarnished, and a life diminished.
A chance brought to Detective Shakespeare whether he wants it or not.

I have read all the Shakespeare books and really enjoyed them so please can you write some more, also I read all the James and Laura Acton books including the latest, will there be more of those. Thank you so much for all the enjoyment I have had reading these stories.
Hi Caroline, glad you’re enjoying the books! Yes, there will be more Shakespeare’s in the future, though I can’t make any promises as to when. There will definitely be more Acton novels, along with the spin offs (Kane and Delta). I’m currently working on another Delta book that will hopefully be out in May. Thanks for reading!
I have read all three Shakespeare books, and have enjoyed them immensely. Your writing style is my happy place. Please keep them coming.
Glad you enjoyed them!
I’m late to the game; finished the 1st Dylan Kane novel and I’m almost halfway done with the first Detective Shakespeare book and enjoying it. Questioning if Detective Shakespeare will actually participate in the story and the ones that follow or is he a topic, such as TV’s Detective Columbo’s never seen wife.
When you finish the book, all will be revealed.
